As we have progressed through all of these things, we have become
aware of many more local organizations that offer great services and
programs, but that are not as easy to find as we think they could be.
We found that most of these organizations are strapped for cash and
are in need of donations, volunteers, press, memberships, and most
of all, just getting the word out about what they offer.

We seemed to search endlessly for family friendly events by reading
our local papers and searching the internet, and we wished for one
central resource that would contain everything we are looking for.
So we came up with the idea of the Family Fun Network, a place
where families can check in and see what’s going on in the community
and also find ways to contribute, participate and educate themselves
about the great local resources that are around them.

The Family Fun Network will be a central website where families can
visit, and non-profits and others can list events. We will sponsor events
that will tie these two together by bringing the family to an event that
is fun and also supports these local non-profits. We will also offer web
services to non-profits that may not have the resources to have a
great website with all of the bells and whistles that will help them
spread their message and become more effective with their mission.
